General: Wet road surfaces are reported throughout the entire network.

Heavy Rain: Noted between Queenstown and the Crown Range Junction.

SH85 (Alexandra to Kyeburn): While rainfall is lighter in this area, roads remain wet, and caution is still advised.

• Kawarau Gorge: High of 7°C
• SH85 (Alexandra to Kyeburn): Ranging between 7–10°C
• Alexandra to Raes Junction: Averaging around 6°C
• Haast: 5°C
• Queenstown to Kingston: As low as 4°C

 Please exercise caution during early morning hours. With current temperatures and wet conditions, there is a heightened risk of ice formation at daybreak, particularly in shaded or elevated areas.
