Key Responsibilities:


As a Graduate Planner within our Resource Management Planning team, you will be involved in a wide variety of work that will involve processing resource consents in a range of interesting areas, including:

  • Urban and rural land use and subdivision developments
  • Considering development implications to heritage buildings and heritage precincts
  • Industrial growth projects
  • Planning matters relating to areas of significant and outstanding natural landscapes


You’ll be supported by an experienced and collaborative team who are committed to mentoring and professional development.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • A relevant degree in Planning, Resource Management, or a related field
  • A sound understanding of the resource consent process and associated legislation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer literacy
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • A solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to learn
