I’m excited to share that Play Week Aotearoa 2025 is just around the corner – running from Monday 20 October to Sunday 26 October – and I’d love for us to get behind it!

Play Week is a national celebration led by Sport New Zealand – Ihi Aotearoa, highlighting the incredible value that play brings to our tamariki, whānau, and communities.

Tākaro Mai, reminds us that play is more than just fun – it’s how our children build confidence, creativity, friendships, and a lifelong love of being active.

Join one of our Play Days around the district in October.

There will be one in Alexandra (21st), Wānaka (22nd), Queenstown (23rd), Cromwell(25th) and Ranfurly (30th)!
