Overview:
From 8 December 2025, two new seasonal work visas will come into effect: the Global Workforce Seasonal Visa (GWSV) and the Peak Seasonal Visa (PSV).
These changes will impact how businesses recruit, employ, and support seasonal workers across industries such as horticulture, agriculture, meat and seafood processing, engineering, manufacturing, health and tourism and hospitality (including ski and snow).
To ensure employers are ready, Business South is hosting a focused session in November. This session will provide practical guidance on what the new rules mean for your business, how to prepare, and how to stay compliant while meeting workforce demands.
